Water Quality Response Form

The Salem and Beverly Water Supply Board is actively working with the City of Salem to determine the source of the disturbance in distribution system, which has led to an increase of colored water in the distribution system. At present time, water from the treatment plant is considered safe. However, slight minerals such as iron and manganese can easily discolor water.
